Here at Make Harrogate we work hard to ensure our jewellery is as accessible as possible. All our earrings can be made as clip-ons. If you wish to request clip on earrings please contact us through our contact page once you have placed your order.
This can either be due to the materials involved and/or the time that it take to make the piece for example some pieces may include gold/ silver leaf, charms, resin or involve a specialist technique like cane work that takes a little longer.
Polymer clay is light weight by nature, even the largest pieces weigh less than a few sheets of paper (less than 10g).
The clay pieces of the jewellery are waterproof; however, the findings with tarnish more quickly if repeatedly exposed to water.
All findings (the metal) involved in earring making are hypoallergenic stainless steal, this is nickel free and means I that if you have previously had allergic reactions you should be fine with make jewellery!
Although our products themselves are not made from a natural material, here at Make Harrogate we do out very best to ensure that the rest of the business is sustainable. All packing is plastic free and recyclable. We also ensure that we are completely waste free by using every spare piece of clay.
